DAY 1:  THURSDAY, JUNE 15 – FREDERICTON TO FERRY (SYDNEY NS)
Welcome aboard! Today we begin our 11 days of adventure & excitement as we make our way towards Newfoundland. Tonight, we will board the ferry in North Sydney where we will sleep on the ferry.


DAY 2:  FRIDAY, JUNE 16 – PORT-AUX-BASQUES NL TO ST. ANTHONY
7:00am - Departure
This morning after breakfast, we will start our journey by heading up the Northern Peninsula passing through Gros Morne National Park with valleys, spectacular fjords, mountains and stunning scenery en-route to our destination of St. Anthony where we will stay for two (2) nights.  We will stop for lunch.  After lunch, we will stop at Arches Provincial Park. Don't forget your camera as you may see numerous moose along the way today.

Tonight, after dinner on your own (plenty of choice near the hotel and restaurant in the hotel), you will be able to relax for the night and get ready for a great Newfoundland trip.

DAY 3:  SATURDAY, JUNE 17 – ST. ANTHONY
8:20am – Departure
After breakfast, we will head to the most Northern tip of Newfoundland to visit the Statue of Leif Erickson who landed there over 1000 years ago and thus the Viking Settlement was born. We will step back in time as we venture out to L’Anse aux Meadows, home of the Viking People and the remains of the Norse buildings. 
 
After lunch, we join the Alcock family for an award-winning Newfoundland boat tour experience; Icebergs, whales, dolphins and seabirds are routinely seen on this tour. It is an exciting ecological and cultural journey into Newfoundland’s unique heritage. We will visit the scenic coastal waters off St. Anthony and during the tour there will be a live interpretation program on the marine wildlife and culture of the region. *A visit of Grenfell Historic Properties is an alternate excursion for those that don’t do well on water or in case of inclement weather.
 
Tonight, for dinner, we will go eat at a great local restaurant where we will have some local music. (Dinner included) Beautiful locations!


DAY 4:  SUNDAY, JUNE 18 – ST. ANTHONY TO DEER LAKE
8:00am - Departure
Today after breakfast we head back down the beautiful scenic coast retracing our footsteps and keeping our eyes open for moose. We will make a few interesting stops in Gros Morne National Park which is also a World Heritage Site, as well as enjoy lunch in Rocky Harbour. We will then continue and overnight in Deer Lake.

Tonight, we will have a dinner buffet (Pizza & Garlic Fingers) at the hotel. (Included)        

DAY 5:  MONDAY, JUNE 19 – DEER LAKE TO GANDER
8:00am - Departure
After a restful night and a delicious breakfast, we will head to Norris Point for a great boat tour that is done by Bon Tours. Tonight, you will have a relaxing night at the hotel.

DAY 6:  TUESDAY, JUNE 20 – (GANDER) TWILLINGATE
We will enjoy beautiful scenery with tickles, runs and inlets as we head for Twillingate, a.k.a. Iceberg Alley, where we will have lunch at a winery (Included).

In the afternoon, we will visit the Longpoint Lighthouse Centre and the very interesting Prime Berth Fishing Museum. We will then drive a short distance to overnight in the town of Gander, crossroads of the world and inspiration for the Tony award winning Broadway play, Come From Away.

DAY 7:  WEDNESDAY, JUNE 21 – (GANDER TO CLARENVILLE) BONAVISTA & TRINITY
Today after breakfast, we head out to the historical town of Bonavista. We will have lunch at the historic harbor front area and then after lunch we will visit The Matthew Legacy and then the Cape Bonavista Lighthouse and the puffin colony. After we will head to Trinity to visit the Old Trinity Historic site and have dinner with amazing views.

After dinner in Trinity, we will then head to the hotel where we will have an old-fashioned Newfoundland Kitchen Party with dancing and of course you will all become “Honorary Newfoundlanders”!!
And be Screeched-In.

DAY 8:  THURSDAY, JUNE 22 – CLARENVILLE TO ST. JOHN’S
9:00am - Departure
This morning after breakfast, we will depart for St. John's, the province's capital city where we will make our home for the next two (2) nights. After lunch, we will head to visit a nice museum called The Rooms, a museum that brings together the Provincial Archives, Art Galleries and the Museum of Newfoundland and  then we will check-in to our amazing hotel in St. John’s.

The remainder of the evening is yours to explore one of the oldest cities in Canada. Enjoy your time here! We will offer drop off and pick up to the mall and other area in St. John’s.

DAY 9:  FRIDAY, JUNE 23 – ST. JOHN’S
9:00am - Departure
This morning after breakfast, we will welcome aboard a local guide who will explore this great City of St. John’s with us visiting Signal Hill, Cabot Tower, Quidi Vidi Fishing Village, Government House, Roman Catholic Basilica and many other historic sites throughout the city. After lunch, we will head for Cape Spear National Park, the most easterly point of land in North America. Cape Spear offers spectacular coastal scenery as well as WW 2-gun emplacements and the oldest lighthouse in Newfoundland. We will then take a drive to the quaint fishing village Petty Harbour.

Tonight, we will have our “Farewell Dinner” at the hotel and talk about our amazing trip to Newfoundland with your new friends you made on the trip.

DAY 10:  SATURDAY, JUNE 24 – ST. JOHN’S TO ARGENTIA AND FERRY
After a delicious breakfast, we begin to make our way to Argentia where we will take an overnight ferry ride to Sydney Nova Scotia. But we will first visit the Geo Centre and have lunch before heading to the ferry terminal.

Our ferry departs at 5:00pm and is scheduled to arrive in Sydney at 9:00am tomorrow.  We will have cabin accommodations on the ferry.

DAY 11:  SUNDAY, JUNE 25 – SYDNEY TO AULAC, MONCTON, SAINT JOHN & FREDERICTON
This morning we dock in Sydney NS right after breakfast. We will make our way back to our destinations.
