Today, we set sail on our 17-Day Caribbean (Barbados, St. Lucia, etc…) *No-Fly* NCL Pearl Cruise & Philadelphia Tour! Our journey begins as we travel through Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Maine, with a rest stop for the night in Massachusetts. Along the way, we’ll make scheduled stops for lunch and breaks to ensure a comfortable ride. Our dedicated Tour Director will keep you entertained with fun games and movies throughout the trip, making the journey as enjoyable as the destination. This evening, we’ll relax at the hotel and get ready for the excitement that awaits us in Philadelphia tomorrow.

DAY 2: THURSDAY, JANUARY 13 – MASSACHUSETTS TO PHILADELPHIA, PA
Start your day with a complimentary breakfast before we set off for Philadelphia, PA. Sit back and relax as your Tour Director keeps the journey fun and engaging with scheduled comfort stops, a lunch break, games, and movies to help the miles roll by. Before you know it, we’ll be arriving in the City of Brotherly Love!

After checking into our hotel, enjoy a free evening to explore at your own pace. Discover local restaurants, browse unique shops, or simply soak in the vibrant energy of downtown Philadelphia. The adventure is just beginning, and this exciting getaway is one you won’t want to miss!

DAY 3: FRIDAY, JANUARY 14 – PHILADELPHIA, PA (LOCAL TOURING)

Today we dive into the heart of Philadelphia with a full-day Guided Tour led by a knowledgeable local step-on guide. This tour showcases the city’s iconic landmarks and hidden gems – from the famous Rocky Steps and statue to the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, Swann Memorial Fountain, the Franklin Institute, Philadelphia City Hall, and the LOVE sculpture.

We’ll enjoy lunch at the Reading Terminal Market, one of America’s oldest and most celebrated public markets, where dozens of local vendors offer everything from Philly cheesesteaks to Amish baked goods.

The tour continues through Chinatown, past the hauntingly fascinating Eastern State Penitentiary, and into the beautifully preserved neighborhoods of Society Hill and Old City, where federal-style row houses and historic gas lamp streets tell the story of America’s early days. DAY 4: SATURDAY, JANUARY 15 – PHILADELPHIA, PA

This morning, we'll depart from the hotel and head to the PhilaPort Cruise Terminal. After checking in at the terminal, we'll embark on our cruise adventure, which promises to be an incredible 12-day journey!

Once onboard the ship, you'll have the chance to savor delicious meals, enjoy refreshing drinks, and explore the various amenities and activities available. The announcement for when your room is ready will be made, allowing you to settle in comfortably.

While on the ship, you'll have the option to shop for duty-free purchases, with great daily deals available. If you prefer, there will be another opportunity to visit the Duty-Free Store on our way home. Get ready for an unforgettable cruise experience!

The George Washington House, the actual house where he stayed, is now part of the Garrison Historic Area.

DAY 13: MONDAY, JANUARY 24 – PUERTO PLATA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

Puerto Plata (or officially known as San Felipe de Puerto Plata) is the ninth largest city in the Dominican Republic and the capital of the province of Puerto Plata. For spectacular city views, take a ride up the Pico Isabel de Torres mountain which stands over 2,600 feet high. History buff? Visit Fortaleza San Felipe, which was built in the 16th century and served as a prison under the dictatorship of Rafael Trujillo. Or head to the Amber Museum, a museum filled with a unique collection of valuable Dominican amber which is semiprecious tree sap that has hardened for millions of years capturing many fossils of plant and insect life.

On the final day of our cruise journey, we'll arrive at the port at approximately 7:00 am, possibly even earlier. You'll have the opportunity to enjoy your last breakfast at the buffet restaurant.

When they announce your color of luggage tag, you will disembark and retrieve your luggage in the terminal.  After disembarking the ship at around 9:00 am, we'll gather at the motorcoach area for our return trip home. Rest assured, the attentive staff from Dream Vacation Tours will be present to ensure you board the correct motorcoach for a smooth departure. ????

Today, our journey will take us to Massachusetts or Maine, with scheduled breaks and a lunch stop along the way to ensure your comfort. Upon arrival at our hotel, if time permits, you'll have the evening to either engage in a little bit of shopping or simply unwind and relax at the hotel.

DAY 17: FRIDAY, JANUARY 28 – MASSACHUSETTS OR MAINE TO NB & NS
Today, after enjoying a delicious hot breakfast, we begin our journey back home from our incredible 17-DAY CARIBBEAN (Barbados, St. Lucia, etc…) *NO FLY* NCL PEARL CRUISE & PHILADELPHIA TOUR.

As we head home, we will carry with us wonderful memories and the bonds of new friendships forged during this remarkable adventure.
