This introductory call allows you to share your travel goals, ideas, and budget. We will also discuss travel insurance options and review any applicable service fees based on your travel needs.

Full-Service Trip Planning & Booking – $300.00

Includes research and booking of flights, airport transfers, accommodations, car rentals, attractions, and activities. This service also includes document preparation (printing and delivery) and full support during your travels. Think of us as your personal concierge!

 

All-Inclusive Package or Cruise + Flight Package – $100.00 per booking

 

Flight-Only Booking

  • Domestic (within North America): $50.00
  • International: $100.00
  • No fees apply for flights associated with a Dream Vacation Tour group

Reward Flight Booking (Aeroplan, Air Miles, etc...)

  • Domestic (within North America): $100.00
  • International: $200.00

Airfare-only service fees are based on working with preferred airline partners and may increase when booking with non-preferred airlines or for complex itineraries.

 

Accommodations-Only or Car Rental-Only Booking – $100.00

Why Should I Purchase Travel Insurance?

You’ve decided to make an investment in your happiness by travelling.  We highly recommend, for your peace of mind, to ensure you are covered for life’s unexpected. Although no one ever plans a trip to cancel, have a medical emergency or have to cut the trip short due to an event at home, it does happen. Losing the value of your trip prior to departure can be very costly or much more costly if you need emergency medical attention in another province or country.

  • Travel insurance is not just for expensive vacations. Travel insurance is not just for trips overseas. And travel insurance is not just for long journeys.

When you call the cruise line and explain what happened, they’re sympathetic — but you’re not getting your money back. Company policy clearly states that amounts paid are non-refundable.

 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Travel insurance does not cover everything. Your policy has exclusions, conditions and limitations. You should read your policy carefully when you receive it, so that you are aware of, and understand, the limits of your coverage.

 

You have ten (10) days after purchasing your policy to request a full refund, provided you have not departed on your trip and a claim has not been incurred.

  • I am covered through work or my credit card.  What questions should I ask to ensure I am properly covered?
  • Do I have to purchase my trip on my credit card to activate the insurance coverage?
  • How many days am I covered for?
  • Can I benefit from this coverage if I stay longer?
  • Do you allow extensions?

With Allianz Global purchased thru Dream Vacation Tours, you would be covered for the dates of your trip(s) and extensions are possible.

  • Am I covered if I get sick with Covid prior or during my trip?

With Allianz Global purchased thru Dream Vacation Tours, you would be covered for both Cancellation and Interruption and Medical as well.

  • Am I covered for all emergency/hospital expenses?  For what amount? Does my age, my medical history, medication, or pre-existing condition affect the coverage?

With Allianz Global purchased thru Dream Vacation Tours, you can be covered for most or all of these depending on age and pre-existing conditions, but you would have to discuss this with our Travel Advisor.  You would be covered up to $10 million.

  • Am I covered if an air ambulance is required to bring me back to Canada?

With Allianz Global purchased thru Dream Vacation Tours, you would be covered.

  • Will you pay direct or guarantee payment to the medical facility?  Do I have to pay a deductible?

 With Allianz Global purchased thru Dream Vacation Tours, there is no deductible and Allianz Global will pay directly to the medical facility where and when possible.

  • Will you co-ordinate with my provincial plan or do I have to submit the balance of my claim to you?

With Allianz Global purchased thru Dream Vacation Tours, Allianz will coordinate with your medical plan.

  • Are my benefits cancelled if I miss a credit card payment while I’m away on my holidays?
  • Do you provide a 24-hour, 7 days-a-week toll free assistance telephone number?  If so, is this service operated by you or a contracted assistance company?

With Allianz Global purchased thru Dream Vacation Tours, it is operated in house.  Allianz Global offers a 24/7 service.

  • Am I covered for cancellation of my trip entirely – that is: air, hotel, transfers, tax and services – before my departure?

With Allianz Global purchased thru Dream Vacation Tours, you would be covered up to the sum insured.

  • Am I covered for cancellation or interruption of my trip if my travelling companion gets injured or sick?

With Allianz Global purchased thru Dream Vacation Tours, you are covered as long as it is a covered reason.

  • Am I covered for trip cancellation if I can’t stay in my principal residence because of a fire, floor, tornado or ecological disaster, for example?

With Allianz Global purchased thru Dream Vacation Tours, you would be covered up to the sum insured.

  • Am I covered for cancellation or interruption if a new travel advisory is issued for my destination?

With Allianz Global purchased thru Dream Vacation Tours, you would be covered as long as this is not a known reason such as Covid.
