DAY 1: SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 19 – NS & NB TO MASSACHUSETTS
Welcome aboard!! Today, we we will be travelling through Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts and begin our seven (7) days of adventure and excitement as we make our way towards New York City. Making several stops today for breaks and lunch, we will travel as far as Massachusetts where we will spend the night on our way to New York City.
DAY 2: MONDAY, NOVEMBER 20 – MASSACHUSETTS TO NEW YORK CITY
This morning after a hot breakfast, we will journey to the Big Apple. After stopping for lunch along the way, we will arrive at our downtown hotel around 3:00pm which is just in time for check-in and you will be on your own for supper. After supper, we will have a two and a half (2.5) hour Guided Christmas Night Tour of NYC with a local guide interpreting the various window displays, which are a long-time tradition of the department stores in the city. The tour will end at Rockefeller Centre. You can skate at the Ice Rink for a cost. Click here for your options.
DAY 3: TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 21 – LOCAL TOURING - NEW YORK CITY
After breakfast (on your own), we will join our local Step-On-Guide for a four (4) hour Guided Tour of the Big Apple. The remainder of the afternoon is at your leisure. Tonight, we leave the hotel to go to Radio City Music Hall to see the world famous Rockettes Christmas Spectacular *option for ticket - or you can meet us there.
DAY 4: WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 22 – LOCAL TOURING – NEW YORK CITY
Today, we will visit the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island with Statue Cruises. You will also have the option to be on your own to explore the “city that never sleeps”. Our Tour Director and/or Reservation Agent will be more than happy to help you pre-plan some activities: some examples are shopping, Empire State Building, 9/11 Museum, Museum Mile and much more. (These activities are at your own cost). Tonight, you will have the option to go see a Broadway show.
DAY 5: THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 23 – LOCAL TOURING – NEW YORK CITY
This morning, we will attend the Macy’s Parade (optional). The parade goes from 9am to 1pm, but if you want a good spot to watch from, you will need to be out earlier. (1 to 1.5 hours before is suggested). You can get some great views within walking distance of the hotel. We will also spend time visiting Rockefeller Center and its Christmas Shops. The Christmas Tree will be at Rockefeller Center but will not be lit up. We will leave the hotel and walk a few blocks to get to the Rockefeller Center at 3:00pm. Tonight, we visit the shops in Bryant Park that close at 8:00pm or you can be on your own to say goodbye to this great city anyway you choose!
DAY 6: FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 24 – NEW YORK CITY TO PORTLAND ME
This morning, we leave New York City and begin our journey back to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. We will stop for the night in Portland Maine, which is the capital of Maine. Our hotel is ideally located across from the Maine Mall, which is the state’s largest shopping place. Our hotel also has a complimentary shuttle that can take you up to a three (3) miles radius of the hotel including The Christmas Tree Shop for those last minute gifts!
DAY 7: SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 25 – PORTLAND ME TO NB & NS
Today after a hot complimentary breakfast, we make our way home to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia while driving through New Hampshire and Maine. We will stop at the Duty Free Shop for some great deals and then on to New Brunswick before we arrive in Nova Scotia where you will say good-bye to your Tour Guide and Driver and leave us with great memories of your New York City Macy’s & Thanksgiving Luxury Dream Tour.
