Today marks the start of your
Great Canadian Family Dream Tour to
Montréal & Toronto! We’ll travel through
Nova Scotia,
New Brunswick and
Quebec, making stops along the way to stretch your legs and enjoy lunch.
On board, your Tour Director will keep the whole family entertained with games, movies, and activities to make the journey fly by.
We’ll arrive at our host hotel in downtown
Montréal around dinner time. After check-in, the evening is yours to explore the city at your own pace or simply relax and get settled. Be sure to rest up — tomorrow’s adventure takes us to La Ronde Amusement Park for a day full of thrills and fun!
DAY 2: FRIDAY, AUGUST 7 – MONTRÉAL
BREAKFAST ON YOUR OWN
Get ready for an action-packed day of fun! Today we head to
La Ronde Amusement Park, where endless excitement awaits the whole family. From roller coasters and water rides to kid-friendly attractions and live entertainment, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
After a full day of thrills, laughter, and adventure, we’ll return to our hotel in the evening. The night is yours to relax, explore the city at your own pace, or enjoy dinner with your family. Rest up — tomorrow brings even more family adventures!
DAY 3: SATURDAY, AUGUST 8 – MONTRÉAL
BREAKFAST ON YOUR OWN
Today is all about discovery, adventure, and hands-on fun at
Montréal’s Space for Life!
We’ll start at the
Biodome, where you can walk through five completely different ecosystems under one roof. From playful penguins in the sub-Antarctic to monkeys swinging in the tropical rainforest, it’s like stepping into five worlds in a single visit — a favorite with kids of all ages!
Next up is the
Insectarium, where creepy-crawlies steal the show. Marvel at colorful butterflies, get up close to fascinating beetles, and explore exhibits designed to spark curiosity and maybe even turn “ewws” into “wows.”
We’ll round out the visit at the
Planetarium, where you can lean back and journey through the stars. With immersive shows that blend science and storytelling, kids and parents alike will be transported to galaxies far beyond our own.
The evening is free to explore Montréal at your own pace (
on your own) — perhaps enjoy a stroll through
Old Montréal with its cobblestone streets, charming shops, and plenty of family-friendly dining options. Don’t miss the chance to ride the
La Grande Roue de Montréal, the giant Ferris wheel offering breathtaking views of the city skyline and the St. Lawrence River.
DAY 4: SUNDAY, AUGUST 9 – MONTRÉAL TO TORONTO
BREAKFAST ON YOUR OWN
Today we say au revoir to Montréal and make our way to exciting
Toronto! Upon arrival, we’ll dive right into one of the city’s top attractions —
Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada. Here, you can wander through underwater tunnels surrounded by sharks, rays, and sea turtles, watch jellyfish glow in vibrant colors, and even touch stingrays in the interactive pools. The moving walkway through the Dangerous Lagoon is always a highlight, making you feel like you’re right in the middle of the ocean! With more than 20,000 aquatic animals, there’s something to fascinate every member of the family.
After our visit, we’ll check into our hotel in Toronto. This evening is yours to relax or head out and explore the area — but be sure to get plenty of rest, because tomorrow we’re off to Canada’s Wonderland!
DAY 5: MONDAY, AUGUST 10 – TORONTO
Today is all about non-stop excitement at
Canada’s Wonderland — the country’s largest theme park and a family favorite! From world-class roller coasters to kid-friendly rides, live shows, and splash zones, there’s something here for everyone.
Thrill-seekers can take on legendary coasters like Leviathan, Behemoth, and Yukon Striker, while younger adventurers will love the fun and colorful attractions in KidZville and Planet Snoopy. Families can cool off together at Splash Works, a 20-acre waterpark filled with wave pools, lazy rivers, and twisting slides — the perfect way to beat the summer heat.
Between rides, there are plenty of chances to enjoy live entertainment, carnival games, and delicious theme-park treats. Whether it’s laughter on the carousel, screams on the coasters, or splashes in the waterpark, today will be filled with memories your family will never forget.
In the evening, we’ll head back to our hotel in Toronto. The night is yours to relax, enjoy dinner, or head out and explore the area at your own pace.
DAY 6: TUESDAY, AUGUST 11 – TORONTO
Today is a
free day for you to explore Toronto at your own pace (
on your own)! You could head up the
CN Tower for breathtaking views of the city, or take the ferry to the
Toronto Islands for a fun escape with beaches and bike paths. You may also want to get some
back-to-school shopping done at the
Eaton Centre, Toronto’s premier downtown mall with hundreds of stores and restaurants under one roof.
For a one-of-a-kind evening, you might choose the
Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament, where jousting knights and a royal feast bring history to life. Sports fans can also catch the
Toronto Blue Jays as they take on the Boston Red Sox at Rogers Centre. However you spend the day, Toronto offers endless ways to create unforgettable memories.
* All activities undertaken on your free day are at your own expense. Guests are responsible for booking their own tickets for these optional experiences and must arrange own transportation.
DAY 7: WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 12 – TORONTO TO QUEBEC
This morning we’ll begin our journey home, but not before an unforgettable visit to the
Toronto Zoo — Canada’s largest zoo and one of the top family attractions in the country. Spanning over 700 acres, the zoo is home to more than 5,000 animals representing over 450 species. Families can explore themed zones from around the world, including the African Savannah, Tundra Trek, and the Giant Panda Experience. Kids will love the Discovery Zone, complete with interactive exhibits, a splash pad, and family-friendly fun. With plenty of restaurants and snack options throughout the zoo, it’s also the perfect spot to enjoy lunch before we continue our journey.
After our visit, we’ll make our way back to Quebec, where we’ll spend the night before completing our journey home tomorrow.
DAY 8: THURSDAY, AUGUST 13 – QUEBEC TO NB & NS
Today we begin our trip back home to
New Brunswick and
Nova Scotia, with plenty of breaks and rest stops along the way. Your Tour Director will keep the ride fun with games, movies, and activities to make the miles fly by.
As our adventure comes to an end, we hope you’ll take home wonderful memories of your
Great Canadian Family Dream Tour — from the thrills of La Ronde and Canada’s Wonderland to the magic of Montréal and Toronto. Thank you for traveling with Dream Vacation Tours, and we look forward to welcoming you on another journey in the future!
