New Brunswick before arriving in
Quebec for the evening. Along the way, your Tour Director will keep things fun and entertaining with games and movies, and we’ll make scheduled stops for breaks, lunch, and a chance to stretch your legs.
After checking into our hotel, the evening is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Explore the area or simply relax and recharge. Rest up, as tomorrow we continue on to Canada’s capital,
Ottawa.
DAY 2: FRIDAY, OCTOBER 2 – QUEBEC TO OTTAWA
This morning, after a complimentary hot breakfast, we’ll set off on our journey to
Ottawa – Canada’s vibrant capital. After lunch, we’ll embark on a
Guided Tour of Ottawa with a local expert, who will bring the city’s rich history, culture, and landmarks to life. From the iconic
Parliament Hill to the
Rideau Canal, you’ll experience the heart of Ottawa like never before.
In the evening, we’ll check into our downtown
Ottawa hotel, where you can either relax in comfort or step out to explore the vibrant sights, local restaurants, and exciting nightlife that make Ottawa so special.
DAY 3: SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3 – OTTAWA
BREAKFAST ON YOUR OWN
This morning is yours to enjoy at leisure in
Ottawa. Our centrally located hotel puts you just steps away from some of the city’s most iconic sights, including
Parliament Hill and museums such as the
National Gallery of Canada. Take advantage of this free time to explore at your own pace, whether it’s sightseeing, visiting a museum, or simply enjoying the atmosphere of Canada’s capital.

After lunch (
on your own), we’ll head out for a
Rideau Canal Cruise – a relaxing and scenic way to experience one of Ottawa’s most iconic landmarks. Step aboard a brand-new, 100% electric vessel, the largest of its kind in North America, operated by a company with over 30 years of navigation experience. During this 90-minute cruise, you’ll glide along the historic Rideau Canal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, while taking in the beauty of the city and learning about its rich history. This environmentally friendly vessel continues to lead the way in sustainable cruising.
This evening, enjoy free time to explore beautiful downtown
Ottawa at your own pace. Stroll through the
ByWard Market, one of the city’s oldest and most vibrant areas, or take a relaxing walk along the scenic
Rideau Canal – a UNESCO World Heritage site. For art lovers, don’t miss the
National Gallery of Canada, home to stunning works by Canadian and Indigenous artists. Whether you want to visit a museum, enjoy a café, or simply soak in the city’s charm, Ottawa has something for everyone!
DAY 4: SUNDAY, OCTOBER 4 – OTTAWA TO ST. JACOBS
BREAKFAST ON YOUR OWN
Today, we continue our journey as we make our way to
St. Jacobs. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the drive as your Tour Director keeps you entertained along the way, with scheduled stops for breaks and lunch.
Upon arrival, we check into our hotel and the remainder of the evening is yours to enjoy at your own pace.
Located in the heart of Waterloo Region, St. Jacobs is known for its charming village atmosphere, unique shops, and strong Mennonite heritage. Take some time to explore the area, browse local boutiques, or simply relax and take in the peaceful surroundings.
DAY 5: MONDAY, OCTOBER 5 – ST. JACOBS
Today, we experience the charm and tradition of
St. Jacobs with an
authentic Mennonite experience. We’ll begin with a
Guided Countryside Tour led by a knowledgeable local guide, offering insight into the history, culture, and way of life of the Mennonite community. We’ll visit Kitchen Kuttings, a charming and well-known local shop featuring handcrafted goods, kitchen items, and specialty products that reflect the creativity and traditions of the region. We’ll also visit the Old Order Mennonite Farm Store, where you can browse and purchase fresh, homemade products such as baked goods, preserves, and other locally made specialties – an authentic glimpse into Mennonite life. Our guided tour also includes a visit to a traditional Mennonite Blacksmith Shop, where you’ll see time-honoured techniques and craftsmanship that have been passed down through generations.
For lunch today, we’ll enjoy a group meal at
Anna Mae’s Bakery & Restaurant, a beloved family-owned spot known for its warm hospitality and authentic Mennonite cooking. Following our guided tour of St. Jacobs, this is the perfect place to sit back and enjoy a hearty, home-style meal made from scratch.
Anna Mae’s has become a favourite among locals and visitors alike, even being featured on the
Food Network’s You Gotta Eat Here. Known for its generous portions and comforting flavours, the restaurant also offers an impressive selection of over 18 freshly baked pies made in-house daily – a true highlight of the experience. This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy traditional Mennonite cuisine in a welcoming and relaxed setting.
This evening is yours to enjoy at leisure in the village of St. Jacobs. Known for its welcoming atmosphere and unique character, the village offers something for everyone – from locally made goods and one-of-a-kind boutiques to cozy cafés, restaurants, and even local breweries. Take a stroll through the charming streets, discover hidden gems, and soak in the relaxed pace of this unforgettable destination.
DAY 6: TUESDAY, OCTOBER 6 – ST. JACOBS TO KINGSTON
Today, we continue to
Kingston, a city rich in history and charm. Upon arrival, we’ll enjoy a
Guided Tour of Kingston led by an experienced local guide. Sit back and take in the sights as you explore one of Canada’s oldest cities, learning about its more than 300 years of history – including its role as Canada’s first capital. Along the way, you’ll pass iconic landmarks, historic buildings, museums, and scenic waterfront views.
Following the tour, we’ll check into our hotel, and the remainder of the evening is yours to enjoy at leisure. Take time to explore Kingston’s vibrant downtown, stroll along the waterfront, or discover its many restaurants, shops, and local attractions.
DAY 7: WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 7 – KINGSTON
This morning, before we say goodbye to Kingston, we step inside one of Canada’s most fascinating historic sites: the
Kingston Penitentiary. On this guided tour, you’ll explore areas dating back to the 1830s while hearing captivating stories of daily life behind the walls. From daring escapes to infamous riots and everything in between, this experience brings history to life in a truly unforgettable way.
For lunch today, we board the
Heart of the Islands Lunch Cruise, a relaxing and scenic experience through the beautiful Thousand Islands region. Departing from Kingston, this cruise takes you into the heart of the Admiralty Islands, known for their charming cottage islands, winding channels, and breathtaking views that have made this area famous around the world.
Sit back and enjoy a delicious three-course plated lunch as you sail aboard the Island Queen, taking in panoramic views of the surrounding islands and waterfront estates. Along the way, enjoy live music and informative commentary, bringing the history and beauty of the region to life.
This evening, enjoy free time to explore Kingston’s vibrant downtown. Stroll along the waterfront, browse local shops, or choose from a variety of restaurants and patios. There’s something for everyone to enjoy in this lively and historic city.
DAY 8: THURSDAY, OCTOBER 8 – KINGSTON TO QUEBEC
This morning, we’ll begin our journey back to
Quebec. Today we’ll visit the
Cidrerie Michel Jodoin, where you'll discover the world of apple spirits beyond just cider! The Jodin family has been crafting apple-based beverages for over a century, perfecting the art of distilling apple whiskey, mistelle, and vermouth (just to name a few). During our guided tour, you’ll learn about the fascinating process behind these unique spirits, followed by a tasting of ice cider, apple wine, sparkling cider, and various creative takes on traditional cider. It’s a true apple lover’s dream!
This evening, we’ll check into our hotel, giving you the perfect opportunity to unwind and relax.
DAY 9: FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9 – QUEBEC TO NB & NS
