DAY 1: MONDAY, MAY 13 – NS & NB TO BOSTON AREA
Welcome aboard! Today, we will be travelling through Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Maine, and New Hampshire before we rest our heads at our host hotel in the Boston area as we begin our eight (8) days of adventure on our Washington, DC and Lancaster Dream Tour!DAY 2: TUESDAY, MAY 14 – BOSTON AREA TO LANCASTER AREA
Start your day with a hearty complimentary breakfast before we bid farewell to our hotel and embark on a picturesque journey to Lancaster PA. Our route will take us through the charming landscapes of Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York and Pennsylvania. We will make plenty of stops to stretch our legs and enjoy lunch along the way.
But wait, there`s a sweet surprise in store – a visit to the Hershey Chocolate Factory to satisfy your sweet tooth! Tonight, we'll reach our welcoming host hotel in the Lancaster PA area, where we'll be staying for three (3) nights.
DAY 3: WEDNESDAY, MAY 15 – LANCASTER – LOCAL TOURING
Indulge in a delightful complimentary breakfast at the hotel before we set off on a Guided Tour of Lancaster, immersing ourselves in the Amish Experience. For lunch, we will enjoy an authentic Amish-style meal! In the afternoon, we have a special visit to The Amish Village.
Tonight, you have the option to unwind at the hotel or explore a nearby Walmart Supercentre. We'll provide a convenient drop-off at 6:00 pm and pick-up at 8:00 pm for your shopping convenience.
DAY 4: THURSDAY, MAY 16 – LANCASTER – LOCAL TOURING
Be sure to enjoy a hearty breakfast, compliments of the hotel, before we embark on our exciting day of adventures! This morning, we will make a visit to the Landis Valley Farm & Museum. In the afternoon, we'll explore the charming Kitchen Kettle Village, and following a satisfying lunch, there's an optional add-on for a captivating show at the Sight & Sound Theatre at 3:00pm. If the show isn't on your agenda, no worries! We've got you covered with convenient drop-off and pick-up options, whether you'd like to indulge in some local shopping at Tanger Outlets Lancaster or simply relax at the hotel.
DAY 5: FRIDAY, MAY 17 – LANCASTER AREA TO WASHINGTON, DC AREA
Enjoy a nice complimentary hot breakfast before embarking on a short journey to Washington DC. Upon our arrival, you'll have some free time to explore the city's charms and savour lunch at one of the many local restaurants. At 1:00 pm, we'll reconvene at the bus, where a local step-on guide will join us for an informative 4-hour Guided Tour of Washington.
Following our guided tour, we'll check in at our hotel in the Washington area. For those eager to continue exploring or enjoy dinner, we'll provide convenient drop-offs and pick-ups. Alternatively, you can opt to unwind in the hotel, order in, and simply relax. The choice is yours!
DAY 6: SATURDAY, MAY 18 – WASHINGTON, DC - LOCAL TOURING
Start your day with a delightful complimentary breakfast at the hotel before we embark on an engaging 4-hour Guided Tour of Washington with a local guide. In the afternoon, you'll have free time to explore the city at your own pace. Did you know there are plenty of free attractions in Washington, DC? Consider visiting the Museum of Natural History, the Air and Space Museum, the Botanical Gardens, or the National Zoo.
As the evening approaches, get ready for a memorable experience on the Washington DC Signature Dinner Cruise (this is an optional add-on at an additional cost). Cruise along the Potomac River while enjoying views of the city's magnificent skyline. It's a casual and delightful way to spend your evening. Savour a delicious buffet prepared by their skilled chef and take in the breathtaking sights of Washington, DC's iconic landmarks, including the Washington Monument and National Harbor. You can admire these landmarks from the cozy, climate-controlled interior or the open-air roof decks. DAY 7: SUNDAY, MAY 19 – WASHINGTON, DC AREA TO BOSTON AREA
Enjoy a yummy complimentary hot breakfast at the hotel as we prepare to check out. Today, we'll be embarking on our journey to the picturesque state of Massachusetts. Expect pit stops for lunch and refreshing breaks, all accompanied by fun games and entertainment onboard to make the travel time fly by. Tonight, you'll have the chance to gather your receipts and pack up for our upcoming final day.
DAY 8: MONDAY, MAY 20 – BOSTON AREA TO NB & NS
Savour a delicious hot breakfast before we check out of our hotel. Meet with your Tour Director and get ready for the final journey home. Along the way, we'll make stops for breaks and lunch, offering opportunities to stretch your legs. Today we will be driving through Massachusetts and Maine and will stop at the Duty-Free Shop. Later tonight, we'll arrive back home, bidding farewell to your Tour Director and Driver. Rest assured; you'll depart with cherished memories from your Washington DC & Lancaster, PA Dream Tour.
