QUILTER’S DREAM TOUR – AQS LANCASTER 2024 from NS, NB

DAY 1: SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 8 – NS & NB TO MASSACHUSETTS

Today's itinerary includes a journey through Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. We'll have breaks, lunch, and a quick stop at the New Hampshire Liquor Store along the way. Your Tour Director will have games and entertainment to make the journey enjoyable. We'll end the day at our host hotel in Massachusetts.


DAY 2: MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 9 – MASSACHUSETTS TO LANCASTER PA (4 NIGHTS)
Today's travel takes us through Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. We'll have breaks and lunch along the way, allowing you to enjoy the scenic journey. Our destination for the next four (4) nights is a host hotel in the Lancaster PA area.


DAY 3: TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10 – LANCASTER PA - LOCAL TOURING
Start your day with a nice complimentary hot breakfast before embarking on a Guided Tour of Lancaster PA, offering an Amish Experience. Lunch will feature a nice *Amish Style* meal. In the afternoon, we will explore various shops like Kitchen Kettle Village, Zooks Fabrics, The Old Country Store and Log Cabin Quilt Shop and other shops in the area.

Later, we will visit the Tanger Outlets Lancaster, where you will have plenty of options for dinner on your own and more shopping opportunities.  If you prefer, we will offer to bring you back to the hotel earlier to relax.


DAY 4: WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 11 – LANCASTER – LOCAL – AQS DAY 1
Today is the day! Start your day with a nice hot breakfast, and then enjoy an entire day at the AQS Quilt Show. We'll provide drop-offs and pick-ups throughout the day as needed, and your admission fee for three (3) days is included.

In the afternoon, there's an option to attend a show at the Sight & Sound Theatre – “Daniel” at 3:00pm. We'll depart for the theatre at 2:00pm, but please note that a minimum of fifteen (15) tickets must be sold for us to attend.

Tonight, you'll have the opportunity to relax at the hotel.



DAY 5: THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 12 – LANCASTER – LOCAL – AQS DAY 2
After enjoying a delicious hot breakfast today, you'll have another full day to explore the AQS Quilt Show. We'll provide drop-offs and pick-ups throughout the day for your convenience.

In the evening, we have a special treat for you. We'll be attending the Dinner Show at the Apple Dutch Theatre featuring “The Jersey Boys”. This is included in your itinerary, so get ready for a fantastic evening of entertainment!

DAY 6:  FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 13 – LANCASTER PA TO NORWALK CT
Today, after enjoying a complimentary hot breakfast, we'll check out of the hotel. You still have the option to attend the AQS Quilt Show until 4:00pm if you wish, you can choose to visit the Lancaster Historical Society Museum. For lunch, we'll visit the Central Market, where you can find a variety of delicious options and maybe even do a bit more shopping!  In the afternoon, we'll spend some time at Burkholder Fabrics.

Later in the day, we'll make our way to Norwalk CT, where we'll check into our hotel for the night.


DAY 7:  SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 14 – NORWALK CT TO ME
After enjoying a delicious complimentary hot breakfast, we will check out of our hotel. Today, our journey takes us to Maine, with a special stop at Quilter’s Common in Wakefield MA, for some shopping opportunities. We'll make stops along the way for lunch and breaks, and to keep you entertained during the journey, there will be games and entertainment on the bus.

Upon reaching our hotel, you'll have the option to relax or join us for a drop-off and pick-up at Wal-Mart. Later this evening, you'll also have time to organize your receipts in preparation for Customs tomorrow.


DAY 8:  SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 15 –  ME TO NB & NS
After a nice hot breakfast, we'll check out of the hotel and begin our journey back home. We'll make stops for lunch and breaks to give you a chance to stretch your legs. Today's route takes us through Maine, and we'll also have a stop at the Duty-Free Shop for some great deals. This evening, you'll arrive home and bid farewell to your Tour Director and Driver, leaving us with unforgettable memories of your QUILTER'S DREAM TOUR (AQS 2024) LANCASTER PA.
