NEW YORK LUXURY 4TH OF JULY DREAM TOUR From NS, NB

DAY 1: TUESDAY, JULY 2 – NS / NB TO MASSACHUSETTS

Welcome aboard!! Today, we will be travelling through Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts and begin our six (6) days of adventure and excitement as we make our way towards New York City. Making several stops today for breaks and lunch, we will travel as far as Massachusetts where we will spend the night on our way to New York City.

DAY 2: WEDNESDAY, JULY 3 – MASSACHUSETTS TO NEW YORK CITY
After a nice complimentary hot breakfast, we will check out of the hotel and make our way to New York City where we start with a Guided Tour of New York City visiting sites such as Midtown and Uptown, Grand Central, Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick's, Central Park and a lot more!  After the guided tour, we will go check in at our hotel which we will call home for the next three (3) nights.

This evening, you will have the option to relax at the hotel, attend a Broadway Show or visit NYC on your own. We are staying in downtown NYC and our hotel is located close to all the Broadway shows and Times Square.

**Please note for Broadway Shows, you are required to have a cell phone with Wi-Fi or data as all tickets are eTickets and will be emailed to you when purchased.  The Tour Director can give you directions on how to get to the theatre, if required.

DAY 3: THURSDAY, JULY 4 – NEW YORK CITY - LOCAL
BREAKFAST ON YOUR OWN
Meet your Tour Director to depart to visit the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island with the State Cruise. This afternoon, you will be on your own to explore NYC.

This evening, you will be able to watch the 4TH of July fireworks!  The fireworks display showcases 48,000 fireworks and lasts 25 minutes. It is one of the biggest fireworks displays in the world.  Don’t miss out on the fireworks that start between 9:15pm-9:30pm on the East River around Midtown Manhattan. The display can best be seen from Long Island City, Greenpoint in Brooklyn, or from Midtown Manhattan between 14th and 50th Street. However, there will be 3 million people watching, so come as early as 2:00pm to ensure that you get a great spot.  If you don’t feel like doing this, there are plenty of alternative options:

 

See the Fireworks from a Dinner Cruise *On your own & extra fee!

A great option to enjoy Independence Day and the fireworks is to take a dinner cruise. Many of the dinner cruises offer a 5-course meal and a premium open bar. On the luxury cruise you are treated to appetisers and a live DJ as well. Everyone is expected to dress up and some of the yachts will only accommodate 200 guests.

Evening Boat Tour *On your own & extra fee!

If you don’t want to take a dinner cruise, but do want to have a great view of the fireworks then you might want to take an evening boat tour. The boats leave at around 5:00pm or 6:00pm giving you plenty of time to enjoy the sights of New York before seeing the fireworks. These tours offer food and drinks for purchase on board and some cruises might also have entertainment. These boat tours are cheaper than the Dinner Cruises.

You can also have free time to relax at the hotel, shop for bargains, explore, revisit your favourite attractions, go visit Carlos Bakery, a famous Museum (Arts, Modern Arts or Natural History), go watch a Broadway show or simply enjoy the night life in famous Times Square, where the entertainment is endless!

DAY 4: FRIDAY, JULY 5 – LOCAL TOURING IN NEW YORK CITY
BREAKFAST ON YOUR OWN
Meet your Tour Director to depart on a Guided Tour of New York City. Today we’re going to see Chinatown, Little Italy, 9/11 Memorial and more. You will also have the option to be on your own.  This afternoon & tonight, you will have some free time to relax at the hotel, shop for bargains, explore, revisit your favourite attractions from the guided tours or go watch a Broadway show or simply enjoy the night life in famous Times Square where the entertainment is endless! It’s your last night in NYC so make it count! J

DAY 5: SATURDAY, JULY 6 – NEW YORK CITY TO MAINE
BREAKFAST ON YOUR OWN
This morning, we leave New York City and begin our journey back to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. We will stop for the night in Maine. If our schedule allows, we'll provide transportation for drop-offs and pick-ups at shopping spots.

DAY 6: SUNDAY, JULY 7 – MAINE TO NB & NS
Enjoy a nice hot full breakfast buffet, we will check out of our hotel. Meet with your Tour Director and get ready for the final journey home.  Today we will be travelling through Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia with lunch and a few breaks along the way and grab and go for dinner.  Arrive home and say goodbye to your Tour Director and Driver. You will leave us with unforgettable memories of your New York City Luxury 4th of July Dream Tour. We hope to see you again in the near future! J
